Gautam Alok accompanied trip leader Sakshi Pant to a week long Himachal trip. They laughed, they danced and had a mad week in the mountains. When they returned, Gautam said this about his trip and trip leader Sakshi:
“Thank you Sakshi Pant for being an awesome Trip Leader and for creating countless memories with us. Your energy, enthusiasm and positivity is infectious and the way you took the entire group of strangers and converted it into a family so deftly is something we all are in awe of. Your understanding of people around you – stemming from the fact that you are an amazing human – and accordingly involving everyone in the fun journey that we embarked upon is astute. People with two left feet danced when you danced, bathroom singers became instant rockstars when you prodded, people who thought it impossible to trek through the arduous stretch never gave up for you were leading everyone – going back and forth on the path that seemed impossible to many. Your photography skills, countless group games and your interaction with everyone kept the fun going. Meaningful conversations over bonfire and star gazing until the wee hours were icing on the cake. The place was beautifully nestled in the mountains and the experience was breath-taking for all but it wouldn’t have been half the amazing experience if it were not for your personal involvement and leadership. When the group departs with teary-eyed goodbyes, you know you have done a job par-excellence!
