Sri Lanka

Visa fees: USD 20 or Rs 1,453

Validity: 30 days

Requirements: A passport that is valid for a minimum period of 6 months, Airside transit and exit from Srilanka, Travel documents, Proof of sufficient funds for stay, and Booking details of the stay.

The island country of Sri Lanka in South Asia offers Electronic Travel Authorization. Like many other nationalities, Indian passport holders are eligible for a Sri Lanka visa on arrival. However, to obtain the document, you need to apply for a Sri Lanka ETA before you leave for Sri Lanka. However, since April 2016, Indian Passport Holders can obtain visa online to travel there. Instead of applying through Cambodian Embassy, all you need to do is complete the online application form and pay with your debit or credit card. They will email you eVisa document and all you need to do it print it out and bring with you on your trip to Cambodia.

Jordan

Jordan is truly a hidden gem of the Middle East. Indians visiting Jordan can get a Visa on Arrival which will be valid for 30 days. If Indian nationals enter this country along the Red Sea through Aqaba, then a free visa is granted for a period of one month.

Kenya

In September 2015, the Kenyan Department of Immigration Services launched an e-Visa program, allowing visitors to apply for a visa online without needing to visit a Kenyan diplomatic mission. All you have to do is fill out the online application and pay with debit card or credit card. They will email you eVisa document and all you need to do it print it out and bring with you on your trip to Kenya.

Bhutan

Visa fees: Free

Validity: NA

Requirements: 6-month valid Indian Passport, Two passport-sized photograph, Voter ID, Booking Details of your stay.

Indian citizens are free to go to Bhutan simply by showing an Indian passport, a voter ID card with a photograph, or an ID slip. Indians coming to Bhutan by road are required to obtain an ‘Entry Permit’ on the basis of valid Travel Document from the Immigration Office of Royal Government of Bhutan at Phuentsholing. Similarly, Indians coming by air must possess any one of the above mentioned Travel Document and get the Entry Permit at the Paro International Airport. The ‘entry permit’ allows an Indian tourist to visit Thimphu and Paro only. However, any tourist going beyond Thimphu and Paro need to acquire a ‘special area permit’ from the RGoB Immigration Office at Thimphu.

Nepal

Requirements: Indian Nationals must possess any of the following documents: Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Ration Card, An ID issued by Embassy of India in Kathmandu.

Nepal is the most popular visa free country for Indians. Citizens of India do not need a visa to enter Nepal, and can reside permanently as Nepali citizens with no restrictions, because of 1950 Indo – Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship which allows free movement of people between the two nations on a reciprocal basis.

Fiji

Visa fees: Free

Validity: 4 months

Requirements: Passport Valid for 6 Months, Two recent passport-sized photographs, Proof of funds such as bank statements, Return or Outbound tickets, Booking Details of your stay, Copy of travel itinerary or ticket.

Mauritius

Mauritius is a beautiful country surrounded by white sandy beaches and one of the world’s most extensive coral reefs. Travelling to Mauritius, especially for Indians, is a pretty hassle-free experience. Indians who wish to travel there as tourists or for business purpose are eligible for a 60-day visa on arrival provided they have all the required documents. However, if you plan to stay for more than 60 days, you will have to apply for a visa.

Dominica

Visa fees: Free

Validity: 90 days

Requirements: Passport, Proof of funds, Confirmed onward and return ticket, Confirmation of stay.

A picturesque island nestled in the Caribbean, Dominica guarantees a vacation full of fun and relaxation. Indians do not require a tourist visa to get there and can stay for a maximum of 90 days.

Jamaica

Visa fees: Free

Validity: 14 days

Requirements: Passport valid for the period of intended stay, Sufficient funds for stay, Confirmed onward and return ticket, Booking Details for the stay.

Macau

According to the Entry Regulations released on the Macau Immigration Department, currently, Macau offers visa exemption for Indian citizen’s up to 30 days. For a stay for more than 30 days, Indians can apply for a visa at the Hong Kong immigration office.

Ecuador

Validity: 90 days

Requirements: Valid passport for more than six months, Return ticket, Two passport size photographs, Proof of financial mean’s to support one’s self during your stay in the country.

Like many other countries, even Ecuador is visa free for Indian and you can stay in the country up to 90 days. You will be given a tourist permit upon reaching the country which is valid up to 90 days, as long as you have a passport.

Saint Kitts and Nevis

Validity: 30 days

Requirements: 6-month valid passport, Proof of sufficient funds for stay, Booking Details for the stay, Return ticket.

El Salvador

Togo issues visa of a maximum of 7 days to citizens of India. If an extension is required, one can attain the same for a maximum of 90 days.

East Timor

Visa fees: USD 30

Requirements: A valid passport and a confirmed return ticket.

Zimbabwe

Svalbard

Bolivia

Visa fees: 55 Euros

Validity: 90 days

Requirements: Passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months and a recent photograph is required.

Bolivia gives a visa on arrival to most of the western countries (excluding the USA), to other South-American countries such as Chile and Peru, and India. But you can only get the Bolivia visa on arrival if you land at Santa Cruz or La Paz airports.

Suriname

Validity: 90 days

Requirements: Valid passport, travel documents, and return tickets
