Let me paint a picture about the trip. Just cos we are leading a Singles Only Trip, it doesn’t mean that the whole focus is going to be on singles mingling, or on them trying to court each other. There is a lot more depth to it.
Meghalaya is an adventurous trip. I love leading it cos it has hikes, it has waterfalls, it has wading, canyoneering, and caving. It gives a beginner an opportunity to see how easy or difficult these things are for them, how much they need to push themselves.
Adventure trips also give people a window to see kindness – of strangers on the trip giving their hand to support, help someone. Of people cheering and motivating someone who’s coming last on the trek, of people sharing food as we wait in the dhaba for hot rotis to come; of people empathising and hugging someone when they share a personal story or vulnerability.
An OHOT Singles Only trip is not just frivolous. It is a platform for you to meet people, to spend time in a beautiful place, to learn something about yourself, and to make a few friends, some that will stay for life.
Seven days and 10 people from the other gender may not be enough to get wildly attracted. Or maybe it is enough. It depends on conversations, But will you love it? Yes, for sure. Will you go back with beautiful memories? Guaranteed. Will you miss those people that were strangers just seven days back. Yes yes yes.
