Every friend group has that one Goa story.
Ours?
Started with vibey lights and tequila…
and ended with us pushing our half-unconscious friend out of a North Goa club in a wheelchair like we were escaping a zombie apocalypse at 2 AM.

It was all normal at first. The DJ was killing it, we were screaming lyrics we did not know, and everyone was acting like this night was going to be iconic.
And then suddenly one friend glitches.
Mid dance she just goes,
“Guys… I don’t… feel… good.”
And BOOM. Her entire system shuts down like an iPhone on 1 percent battery.
At first we thought maybe she drank too fast.
But no.
This was not fun drunk.
This was’ her drink is definitely spiked’ energy. Her eyes were rolling, her legs kept giving up, she had zero balance and zero response.
And of course this happens when all of us are drunk too.
Perfect timing.
The club staff pulls out a wheelchair (yes, an actual wheelchair???), and the next thing you know, we are pushing her through a packed club like:
People split like the Red Sea.
Some stared.
Some were confused.
One guy literally cheered us on.
We somehow roll her all the way to the parking lot, and then comes the best plot twist of the night.
Our only Jain friend, the only sober human in our entire circle, because he does not drink at all, suddenly becomes the designated driver against his will.
The man went from chilling peacefully to
“Congratulations, you are now responsible for five chaotic idiots and one unconscious girl.”
We shoved him the car keys like,
“Bro. You are up.”
He did NOT sign up for this.
But respectfully
He drove like an absolute legend. Fully alert, jaw clenched, driving at 20 kmph like he was carrying the Kohinoor diamond.
We reached the hotel safely, the staff helped us get her inside, she was monitored, and THANK GOD she was okay by morning. Confused, exhausted, and remembering nothing past her first drink.
We, on the other hand
Traumatised.
Bonded for life.
And with a Goa story better than any reel.
Moral of the story:
Watch your drinks.
Watch your friends.
And appreciate your sober Jain friend. They are the true backbone of the group.
