Overview:

We are going to Auli, Chopta, Tungnath (trek) and Gurson Bugyal day trek on this trip. We shall be seeing one of the highest man made lakes in India and we will be taking an epic open chair car lift ride!  We will be doing some beginner skiing, we will be playing madly in the mountains, we will be sitting around bonfires at night and seeing a thousand stars in the night sky. We will be sauntering in pretty valleys and we will visit India’s best skiing destination as well.

Itinerary

Day 1 :

Meet in Rishikesh at 5 am. Road trip from Rishikesh to Auli, enroute driving past Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Joshimath

Day 2 :

Skiing in Auli

Day 3 :

Gurso Bugyal day trek. Optional visit to Chhatarkund lake

Day 4 :

Roadtrip from Auli to Chopta. Enroute cable car ride from Auli to Joshimath Evening, walk around Chopta town

Day 5 :

Chopta Tungnath trek. Optional visit to Chandrashila peak

Day 6 :

Drive to Rishikesh. Evening optional Ganga Aarti visit near Ram Jhula

Day 7 :

Head back to your city

Inclusions:

  • Accommodation in Rishikesh for 1 night (double sharing)
  • Accommodation in Auli for 3 nights (double sharing)
  • Accommodation in Chopta for 2 nights (triple/ quad sharing)
  • All transport as per the itinerary from Rishikesh (day 1) till the time we are
  • back to Rishikesh (day 6)
  • All breakfasts (starting from Feb 15th)
  • Dinners on 5 nights (3 nights in Auli, 2 nights in Chopta)
  • All sightseeing in Auli and Chopta, associated entry tickets, permits, parking etc
  • Bonfire in hotel
  • Chair car ride from Auli for skiing day visit
  • Chopta Tungnath trek, support guides for trek
  • Gurson Bugyal trek, support guide for trek

Exclusions:

  • Feb 13 stay in Rishikesh
  • Lunches
  • Dinner meals in Rishikesh
  • Skiing in Auli. Depending on how many hours you want to ski, you can bargain the
  • cost with the local instructors.
  • Auli cable car
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions, or in the itinerary

Cancellation Policy:

Before 60 days of trip start date : full refund
Between 60 to 30 days of trip start date: 50% refund
Between 30 to 14 days of trip start date : 25% refund
Less than 14 days of trip start date : No refund

Also, please note, cancellation charge is applied on total trip cost, not on any partial or token amounts. E.g., if you paid 20,000 for a 35000 trip, 2 months in advance and decide to cancel a trip 30 days before trip start date, the cancellation charge will be applied on 35000, not 20,000.
