We’ve got you covered as we’re trekking up hilly trails and paragliding as well! Is the traveler in you seeking an escape and making friends? Come along, there’s nothing we value more!

First up, we’re visiting Barot, a Himachali hamlet that charms every visitor with its quaint and cosy ways. From here we take on a trek to venture into the Rajgundha valley. Get set to gaze at Dhauladhar peaks in the backdrop and local villages right in front of you.

Then we trek down to Bir- one of the most beautiful places to visit in Himachal. Bir became a frequented spot after it hosted the World Paragliding Championship a few years back. Renowned as the second best paragliding spot in the world, Bir Billing is where you need to head to strike off paragliding from your bucket list!

Riverside relaxation, trekking, paragliding and more are calling out to you for this weekend!

Measures taken by OHOT to make this trip as safe as possible

  1. The properties chosen by us are sanitized regularly and follow all Covid safety norms.
  2. All trippers will have to provide OHOT with a covid negative certificate. This has to be procured within 72 hours of travel start date. Before reaching  Chandigarh, e a c h   tripper will have to mail a copy of the certificate to OHOT. OR share a double vaccination certificate. (Note: Airline norms to be double checked individually as well)
  3. Transfers provided by us will be via private vehicles from Chandigarh airport to back, keeping in mind the safety of the trippers.
  4. All trippers are advised to carry their own hand sanitizers, and Temperatures will be checked on arrival for basic symptom check.

Itinerary

Day 1
Land in Chandigarh by 10 pm. Transfer to Barot by private vehicle.

Day 2
Arrive in Barot by morning. Explore the valley and the Uhl river area. O/N Barot

Day 3
Drive to Baragaun. Trek to Rajgundha. Camp out. O/N Rajgundha camping

Day 4
Trek down to Billing. Paragliding from Billing jump site to Bir. O/N Bir

Day 5
Day trip to Bir’s monasteries – Chokling and Sherabling. Visit local cafes. Evening, start for Chandigarh.

Day 6
Tour ends. Fly back to home city in the morning.

  • 1) Accommodation in a cosy homestay in Barot for one night
  • 2) Rajgundha camping – tent stay and local guide
  • 3) Rajgundha camping – basic dinner and breakfast
  • 4) Accommodation for one night in a vibrant hostel in Bir (dorm room sharing)

Trip Cost Excludes:

 45 days before the trip start date: full refund

 Between 45 and 30 days of trip start date: 50% refund

 Between 30 and 14 days of trip start date: 25% refund

 Less than 14 days of trip start date: No refund
