Hydrate well before the Trek:
Pre-hydrate by drinking at least 2.5-3 Litres of water for a week before the trek begins. During the trek, we burn lots of energy. So, a week before the trek begins, make sure to intake lots of carbs and rich whole grains.
Things to follow During the Trek:
During the trek, the climate, the dizziness makes us wish to skip meals but it’s the biggest mistake to commit during a trek. Meals are what gives us energy. So, it’s important to keep on having each and every meal.
Whole-grain pasta, rice mix, pancake mix, hot cereal, soups, tea, Milk are sources of keeping yourself warm as well as hydrated.
- Dry Fruits Granula bars, Energy bars as munchies.
- Peanut Butter with Bread
- A full heavy wholesome breakfast.
- Fresh, whole fruit that doesn’t require refrigeration such as apples, bananas and oranges.
- Breads, Pasta’s, Rice, Potato Items, Milk.
