Bentota is a famous resort town in Sri Lanka, located on the west coast. Colombo, the capital city is 90 minutes drive, making Bentota accessible for everyone flying into the country. Let’s checkout the best restaurants in the area.

Amal Villa Restaurant: This is one of the best places for seafood in the area. They have a live seafood counter and you can choose whatever you want to see on your plate. All the dishes are freshly prepared and mouth watering. We loved the crab curry and lobster salad here.

The restaurant is situated inside the Amal Villa Residences, next to a private beach. You should definitely check out the restaurant when in Bentota.
