Did you know the region boasts one of the world’s longest combined coastlines due to the nation’s 7000 tropical islands? Ah, I know this makes it quite hard to decide which places to visit when you are in the country. So, let us take you through some of the most beautiful picturesque location in Philippines that would definitely make your heart swoon.
I’d like to start with my personal favourite place in the country – the Chocolate Hills. Tadaaa!
Philippines The Chocolate Hills of Bohol are one of the most iconic natural phenomenon’s in the Philippines. This UNESCO-protected site is a collection of 1,200 geological formations that turn brown in the dry season, resembling a landscape of chocolate candy kisses.
If you ever happen to be in Palawan, make sure to wander around El Nido town and hire your own boat to visit the stunning Bacuit archipelago.

You can also pop over to the Palawanese island of Coron which is just 60-80km from El Nido. Coron is popular for pristine lagoons and white-sand beaches. The views underwater are beautiful too! Go here for shipwreck diving, sprawling coral gardens, and snorkelling.

Just a short plane ride from Manila, Boracay is exactly what you’d imagine in a Filipino island: powdery white sand, turquoise blue water, spectacular sunsets, and vibrant night life.
