Thoseghar Waterfall is a popular waterfall located at Thoseghar village in Satara district of Maharashtra, which is just 26km from Satara. It is one of the top waterfalls in Maharashtra and also one of the highest waterfalls in India. The 500 meters tall Thoseghar Waterfall becomes more spectacular especially during the Heavy rains or monsoon season. You can also have a great view of the waterfall from Chalkewadi and it offers a tranquil surrounding for a nice day out amidst nature. To reach here, you can take local state transport bus from Mumbai or from Swargate in Pune.
The Lingmala Waterfall is a breath-taking and absolutely awe-inspiring waterfall that is situated on the Mahabaleshwar-Pune Road. Away from the hustle bustle of the city life, the waterfalls provide a sense of relief and peace once you visit it therby making it the perfect place for visitors to de-stress and relax. The waterfall is situated at an altitude of 1,278 metres, and fall from a height of approximately 600 feet. It is touted as India’s tallest waterfall and is divided into 3 levels that flows just next to the famous Kaas Plateau promising a breath-taking view.
