Yumthang is Sikkim’s very own Valley of Flowers. At an altitude of 3500 m, the valley is breathtakingly beautiful during spring when the Rhododendrons go on a blossoming spree and you can see a hundred variety of orchids, chimals and blue poppies. There are yaks grazing lazily and towering peaks and the landscape, I dare say is a little like the Lord of the Rings movies.
