First Night Flight from Srinagar

Guess what! The first night flight from Srinagar took off on March 19 (this Friday). Operated by Go
Air airlines, the flight took off at 715 pm successfully. It is planning to start daily flights from Srinagar
To Delhi, departing at 830 pm every day.

The introduction of evening flights, and as a consequence overall increase in flights from Srinagar
could prove to be a major boost to Kashmir tourism this summer and there are expectations that we
shall see a lot more tourists in the valley.

On His Own Trip already took 92 people to Kashmir for new years in four batches, and followed it up
with another group trip of 24 people in Februrary. All these trips saw a lot of snow, and many saw
snowfall for the first time. This winter also saw many social media influencers visit Kashmir. Besides
the well known tourist sector of Sonamarg, Pahalgam and Gulmarg, there is a new interest in
relatively offbeat places like Drang falls and Aharbal.

On His Own Trip will next be leading a trip to Kashmir from May 8-15 and bookings have already
begun. The month of May will see the valley spring to life with flowers blooming everywhere, the
Mughal Gardens in their resplendent best, and the Sindh river flowing blisteringly.
Go Air is also planning to strengthen operations between Srinagar and Leh. As of now, the airline
flies across 39 destinations – 29 domestic and 10 international.
