BIR BILLING

Best time to visit: The month of summer starting from March until June is the peak tourist season and is the most ideal time to visit Bir. Temperatures rise up to a high of 25°C and drop to a low of 11°C in the nighttime in summers.
How to reach: There is no direct flight or rail connectivity to Bir. The best way to reach Bir is by taking an overnight bus private from Delhi to Bir. Ahju railway station is the nearest railway station, which is only 3 km.

DHARAMSHALA

Best time to visit: The weather of Dharamshala during summer is perfectly pleasant. March to June the weather is pleasant and the temperature varies from 20 to 35 degrees Celsius.
How to reach: Gaggal, about 13 kilometres from Dharamshala, is the nearest airport. An overnight train ride to Dharamshala is a viable alternative. Pathankot, 85 kilometres away, is the nearest major railway station. To go to your main destination, you can take taxis or buses.
This former British colony is a great place to sightsee, meander, and navigate. Dharamshala is full of magnificent sites to visit, from quaint colonial bungalows to beautiful churches and monasteries, colourful bazaars, fascinating art museums, and relaxing Yoga schools. Let’s not forget about the high-octane adventure sports!
Dharamshala provides a diverse range of activities, including trekking, paragliding, zip line, rappelling, camping, and cable car rides. Solo travelling is all about exploring whether the surroundings or yourself.  It’s a fantastic time to go café hopping and strike up a friendly discussion with other travellers. RISHIKESH

Best time to visit: Rishikesh is best visited between February and mid-May, while the lovely location may be visited at any time of year.
How to reach: The nearest airport to Rishikesh is Dehradun’s Jolly Grant airport, which is around 35 kilometres away. The nearest railway station to Rishikesh is Haridwar, which is about a 25-kilometer drive away. Rishikesh has a robust road transportation network that connects it to major cities like Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi.
Rishikesh is a tehsil in Uttarakhand’s Tehri Garhwal area, situated on the banks of the Ganges, India’s holy river. Rishikesh’s picturesque splendour is enhanced by the mighty Ganges cutting directly through the city, which is situated at the foothills of the towering Garhwal Himalayas. The gorgeous city appears to be suspended between beautiful riverside promenades, acres of forests, lush mountains, and brilliant blue skies, giving it a strange appearance.
Rishikesh also offers a variety of unusual and adventurous activities. If you don’t want to experience the adrenaline rush of white water rafting, which is offered up to grade 6, you can spend your time doing things like cliff jumping, kayaking, and body surfing. There are beautiful waterfalls here, such as Patna Fall and Neer Garhi Fall, that are ideal for escaping into nature’s raw wilderness. If you’re a spiritual person, you won’t want to miss the Maha Aarti’s jaw-dropping display.

GOA

Best time to visit: The air temperature during the months of  November to March fluctuates between 21°C and 32°C, with the cool and pleasant winds.
How to reach: Goa’s Dabolim Airport is around 26km from Panaji. There are two main train stations in Goa, Madgaon and Vasco-da-Gama.  Once you get out of the airport or railway station, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a pick up to your destination.
The whole point of going to Goa is to lose track of time. As you dance the night away, you have no idea when the sun sets and the stars come out. The pulsing beaches and upbeat attitudes of the many vacationers in Goa give the impression that something wonderful is about to happen. Goa is always buzzing with activity. A tropical paradise where night and day combine into an endless voyage of relaxation and refreshment, almost as if everyone has been invited to a party.
However, Goa is also about getting away from the masses and spending some time with yourself in small, quirky cafes. It’s all about snatching moments and escaping the constant noise of the crowd. In short, Goa is both the calm and the chaos!!

GOKARNA

Best time to visit: The best time to visit Gokarna is from October until March, when the weather is warm and pleasant with temperatures averaging 32 degrees Celsius.
How to reach: Dabolim airport in Goa is the nearest airport about 140 km away. The nearest railway station is at Ankola, about 20 km from Gokarna. From the station and airport, taxi services are available for Gokarna.
Gokarna is an unspoiled temple town in Karnataka, with pristine beaches bordered by swaying palms and renowned Hindu monuments. Furthermore, the town’s rural appearance has drawn the attention of many tourists and foreigners. Several beaches, pilgrimage sites, and waterfalls have become popular tourist destinations. In fact, the town is built around the River Aghanashini, which is revered by devotees as a sacred location.
 Om Beach is a popular tourist destination in Gokarna, a coastal city in the North Canara district. Om Beach, one of the country’s most popular beaches, is shaped like a ‘Om,’ a Hindu spiritual symbol. Some of the activities to attempt in Gokarna’s Om beach include jet skiing, banana boat rides, parasailing, and surfing. So Gokarna is a treat to everyone who is spiritual as well as a wanderer!!

VARKALA

Best time to visit: The best season to visit Varkala is the winter season. The temperature remains comfortable and is apt for visiting the places of interest in Varkala. The best months to visit are October, November, December, January, and March.
How to reach: Nearest airport is at Thiruvananthapuram located around 45 km away from the beach town. Varkala lies on the rail line connecting Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam. Taxis can be hired from the railway station and airport to Varkala. The state-government run KSRTC plies buses regularly from Thiruvananthapuram.
Varkala is a peaceful hamlet on the fringes of the Thiruvananthapuram district. A magnificent beach, a 2000-year-old Vishnu Temple, and the Ashramam – Sivagiri Mutt a short distance from the beach are among the tourist attractions. Varkala is also becoming a popular health resort with many Ayurvedic massage centres.
Varkala is most renowned for its beautiful beaches. Along with the Janardhana swamy temple, the Varakala beach is a popular tourist destination. A natural spring may be found on the Papanasam Beach, which is 10 kilometres from Varkala. It’s thought to have therapeutic and healing effects. The term ‘Papanasam Beach’ comes from the belief that a plunge in the holy waters at this beach will cleanse the body of impurities and the soul of all sins. The Kappil Lake, the Anjengo Fort and Lighthouse, and the Ponnumthuruthu Island are also worth visiting.

PUSHKAR

Best time to visit: The best season to visit Pushkar is during October – November, during the Pushkar Fair, which is also the onset of the winter season. The place is best to visit till February as maximum temperature around this time is 15°C and the minimum is 3.7°C.
How to reach: Pushkar can be reached by taking a flight to Sanganer Airport, which is located in the nearby city of Jaipur, approximately 150 km away. The closest railway station to the city is the Ajmer Station located 11 kilometres away in Ajmer. Pushkar bus station is the hub of all the local buses if travelling to the city by bus.
Pushkar, one of India’s oldest cities, is located in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district. The city of Pushkar, which is located near the Pushkar Lake, contains abundant ancient temples, many of which were destroyed during the 12th century. It is known as the “king of pilgrimage destinations,” or “tirth raj.” Only a few temples dedicated to the Hindu god Brahma remain throughout the world, and one of them is located in Pushkar. The annual Pushkar fair is a prominent tourist attraction in Pushkar and takes place over five days in October. There are 52 ghats and 400 blue temples in this lovely city.
