Kakani Hike

Kakani is one of the best hiking tours close to Kathmandu and the excellent Himalayas viewpoints. It is well known for astounding perspective of mountains like Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt. Langtang, Mt. Gaurishankar and other numerous Himalayas. Amitabha Monastery

Amitabha Monastery lies in the South of the Kathmandu Valley. It is also called a Seto Gumba or White Gumba and lies at an altitude of 1,500 meters. In and around the monastery, the environment is quite peaceful with lush green surroundings and a beautiful viewpoint to see sunrise and sunset, including a range of mighty Himalayas. This monastery is rich in Buddhist Cultural Heritage and is renowned for the Tibetan Culture and rich architecture, where you will see colourful statues and Buddhist paintings, including flags with “mantras.”

Phulchowki Hike

Phulchoki meaning the ‘Hill of Flowers’ is the highest hill around Kathmandu Valley (2,782 meters) and named after the name of a Hindu goddess. The hill boasts 570 species of flowering plants and 1/3rd of bird species in Nepal. On reaching the top of hill, Phulchowki Mai shrine is present with Tibetan prayer flags giving the spot religious touch. Your hike is punctuated by snow-capped mountains, exotic birds and towering mountains on all sides. The eastern Annapurna and Gaurisankar range view and the view of the Kathmandu valley are the other attractions of the hike.

Nagarkot Hike

Nagarkot lies 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu at the altitude of 2,195 meters. A trek to Nagarkot offers you with the fabulous mountain views of Annapurna, Langtang and Everest Ranges. You’ll make your way through oak, pine, and rhododendron forests and learn about village life while taking in views of the Kathmandu Valley and snow-capped Himalayan peaks in Nagarkot. he Newari village Of Sankhu is the starting point of the trek.

Sundarijal Hike

Sundarijal is one of the most famous destinations around Kathmandu for a day trip. This trek is the easier option to explore some wild terrain, simple inclines and beautiful scenery. The path goes through Shivapuri National Park, which makes for some amazing views. This hike is famous for the views of the waterfalls and hilly ridges. You receive a chance to explore the wild jungle during the trek along with the beautiful mountain views.
